    Katja Hom Director of Operations
    AH Management, LLC

I was born and raised in a small town in former East Germany. After the fall of the wall, I packed two suitcases and set off to conquer America. I have lived in the Washington, D.C. area ever since, putting myself through college and working full-time. One of my greatest achievements was working for the city of Berlin promoting tourism as the official representative in North America. The job allowed me to travel all over the United States, Canada and Europe. Following that, I worked at the Foreign News desk of the Washington Post before becoming the Vice President for Business Development here at AveryHess, Realtors®.

In my role, I oversee several revenue departments for AveryHess and serve as a point-of-contact to all of the agents and staff. My responsibilities include: overseeing the Property Management Department, managing the e-lead Division, building vendor relations, and general business development. As an experienced investment property owner myself, I understand the value of a competent management company and their people to owners and tenants alike.

I have been serving on the Standard Forms Committee at the Northern Virginia Realtor® Board since 2013 and the NVAR Grievance Committee and graduated from the NVAR Leadership Institute in 2012.

Outside of work, I love to travel and have spent significant time in the southwest of the United States where I enjoy hiking, camping, exploring and enjoying local art. I'm a former ballet dancer and rock climber who runs daily with my dog to release from the workday.

I am a firm believer in achieving goals, day dreaming and being yourself!

    Bridget Grose Property Manager

I was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Psychology I moved to Fredericksburg. I have always had a passion for wanting to know people's stories and to help them find their dreams. I love solving problems and getting things done. I have been lucky to do what I love in many different forms, from working with at risk youth to helping families heal after trauma. Once I had kids I turned all my energy to raising my beautiful 3 children. After many years being home, I wanted to get back to what I love to do, but was not sure exactly where that would lead. While going through the process of selling my first house and buying my second home I realized what an asset my realtor was for me. She was there reassuring me, and helping me get through one of the most stressful times in my life. That is when I knew real estate was the place for me. I love taking the passion I have and making sure the clients I help have the best experiences and know I am there to help in any way I can with their real estate needs. As a Property Manager I want my clients to know that I am here looking out for their home and will do all I can to earn their trust in me.

In my spare time you can see me in the stands with my husband cheering my kids on in gymnastics, swim, and flag football. I love art and creating pottery when I have time to get to the studio. I enjoy exploring downtown Fredericksburg and all the local shops and trying new foods. But I am truly happy when I am just spending time with my family.

    Danny Warren Property Manager

Arriving in DC only 26 short years ago, I immediately started investing in real estate and in 2008 joined AH Management. As a Property Manager, I specialize in properties within the District of Columbia. My experience from being both owner and manager, has allowed me to provide clients with the level of service and knowledge that I know is essential in owning a DC property.

Over the years I've gained tremendous knowledge on the DC landlord/tenant laws which has been invaluable in advising property owners on best practices they should follow. I also have an intimate knowledge of the sales and rental markets in DC. Living right in the District allows for fast responsiveness, whether it be for regular maintenance checks or those untimely emergency situations.

I love my job and I'm happy to be a member of AH Management.

    Georgie Canyon Property Manager

In my 18 years of experience as a Property Manager, I have had the opportunity to work with some top-tier brokerages, allowing me to gain the education and experience that I use today. My overarching goal is always to provide genuine and personable customer service. I also find it vital to maintain clear communication and transparency with owners, tenants and contractors for the long-term care and maintenance of the property. All of us play a role in keeping our properties in the best condition possible.

Being a property owner can present the unexpected at times. I always want my clients left with the security that their properties are in capable hands. Owners (especially those who have had to relocate throughout the United States and abroad) need to feel that their property holds just as much value to those managing it as it does to them. It is my guarantee to treat your property as I would treat my own.

In my spare time, I love to read and watch a good movie. Outdoor activities are always a plus and when the time allows I love to unwind by sewing and creating some wonderful gifts. My passion is my family and friends.

Julie Sellinger Property Manager & Licensed Agent

I have had a passion for real estate for as long as I can remember. My career began way back in the 80's working in property management, but took a hiatus while I enjoyed my time raising my two beautiful daughters. Now, I am back pursuing my passion again. I love putting my heart and soul into what I do and that is what I give to my clients. Just like being a mom, real estate requires an agent who is patient, understanding, kind and committed. This is exactly what you will receive from me. You can trust that your home means as much to me as it does to you. I promise to treat your home like my own.

I have lived in Darnestown, MD for the past 17 years. We have raised our daughters in this beautiful peaceful community. We enjoy the country setting and share our property with our dogs and chickens. I was raised in Michigan on our family farm, so Darnestown feels like home. My passions include my beautiful family, pets, soccer, exercise and interior design.

I look forward to assisting you in buying, renting or selling your home. You are not just my client, you are my friend!
