Garrisonville is an unincorporated Community in Stafford County (aka – North Stafford) located just south of Quantico Marine Corps Base, lying east of I-95. It is a commuter friendly area with access to commuter lots for shared ride services, as well as Amtrak and VRE stations within a reasonable distance.
Garrisonville is a community within the historically significant Stafford County. Perhaps the most well-known fact is that Stafford County is home to the birthplace of George Washington! Dig further and discover civil war battles, travels of Pocahontas and Captain John Smith and the arrival of impressionist artist, Gari Melchers, in the early 1900’s. Right here in the Garrisonville community is the one of the oldest colonial churches still in operation today—Aquia Church.
